The course will be devoted to the study of the forms of words and the structure of words.

課程大綱：

Morphology is divided into the study of grammatical inflections(Inflectional morphology) and the derivational morphology. An attempt will be made to consider a diversity of morphological structure from several distinct linguistic elements (Phonological, morphological and lexical).

3.      Introducing lexical morphology

4.      Introducing prosodic morphology

5.      Inflectional morphology

6.      Morphological mapping of grammatical functions

7.      Idioms and compounds

教學方式：

Lectures ＋ readings ＋ discussions

課程要求/評分標準：

1.      homework 70%

2.      project 30%

A 4-6 page write-up concerning the significance of any specific issue(s) of morphology in your personal experience.
